W.V.O. Quine (1908-2000), amerikanischer Philosoph und Logiker in der analytischen Tradition. Hauptwerke sind From a Logical Point of View (1953) und Word and Object (1960). Seine Forschungsgebiete waren Sprachphilosophie, Erkenntnistheorie, Metaphysik und Logik.
