Jacob Mincer (1922-2006), amerikanischer Wirtschaftswissenschaftler und einer der Begründer der modernen Arbeitsökonomie. Hauptwerke sind Bildung, Erfahrung und Einkommen (1974), Studies in Labor Supply (1976) und Humankapital: Eine theoretische und empirische Analyse (1993). Seine Forschungsgebiete waren Arbeitsökonomie, Humankapitaltheorie und Bildungsökonomie.
